This article applies to homeowners requesting the reason their service request has not been resolved as quickly as they would like.

 

 

Terminology

Service Request: A request for service for an eligible system or appliance included in a Home Warranty Service Agreement.

 

 

Process

The busiest seasons for the home warranty industry are summer and winter, due to the demands caused by air conditioning and heating failures. During these times, and in other extenuating circumstances, appointments with contractors and parts from suppliers are in high demand, and this can cause delays. 

We always try to provide efficient and timely service. When that isn't possible, we offer other options to help expedite a service need. These options can range from allowing an Out-of-Network Contractor to service the failure to providing cash-in-lieu of repairs or a replacement (once a diagnosis has been received). Work performed without our consent will not be paid.
